When the founders of 99 Natives came to Knapsack, they had a bold mission: bring Native-owned wellness products into the spotlight and build a platform that honors both tradition and modern-day healing. They needed a site that could scale with their brand, inspire trust, and convert cold visitors into loyal customers—without losing the authenticity at the heart of their story.
We delivered a custom Squarespace build designed to tell their story with heart, clarity, and purpose—while also laying a powerful SEO foundation.
Design & Strategy Highlights
This was a conversion-first project powered by clean visuals and StoryBrand principles. Our creative and technical decisions included:
Custom visual hierarchy using earth-toned branding, elevated whitespace, and a typography system that felt both grounded and premium
Shop-driven navigation to keep purchase pathways front and center, especially for mobile users
Messaging clarity across product descriptions, collection pages, and homepage CTAs—designed to move users from awareness to action
Emotional microcopy that supports buyer empowerment and connection to cultural roots
Product-Focused Page Structure
We also optimized the collection and product pages to perform well on both SEO and UX fronts:
Long-form product descriptions that incorporate naturally occurring wellness keywords (while avoiding keyword stuffing)
Optimized H2/H3 headings to enhance crawlability and improve readability
Embedded testimonials and use-case highlights to support social proof and increase time on page
On-Page Copy Decisions
Every word of this website was written with conversion and clarity in mind. We replaced vague headlines with value-forward statements like:
“Wellness rooted in culture”
“Indigenous traditions meet modern-day healing”
“Consciously crafted. Spiritually grounded.”
And we embedded CTAs like “Shop Now,” “Meet Our Founders,” and “Explore the Ritual” to guide users into the brand experience. Each page had a purpose and an emotion—aligning directly with their customer's journey.
